Video of Twin Toddlers Discussing ‘Quarantine’ In Playroom Will Brighten Your Day

By  |

Coronavirus might be stressing you out — what, with the kids home from school and literal fights erupting in grocery stores — so we thought we’d brighten your day with some cute Coronavirus content. Two twin toddlers have clearly been listening to mommy’s conversations.

The two boys, both three-years-old, can be heard talking about socially isolating, saying “we’re in quarantine.”

“Germs go away!” one says before the two talk about how excited they are for spring time. But then, they’re back to pillow-fighting while shouting “go away, germs!” The twins’ mom, Megan, originally posted the video of her boys to TikTok, but it quickly went viral when shared by publications like Upworthy and DailyMail on social media. You can watch the awwww-worthy video below:

The video was captured by Megan’s Google Nest nanny cam. Mom later shared the video on her Instagram page, writing, “My boys are famous! I shared this video on Tiktok and it went viral. […] I can’t even keep track of how many millions of views it has, but their tiny people conversations are making people happy.” She even said that The Good Place star Kristen Bell shared the video!

Clearly, Megan’s figured out a way to talk about the pandemic with her children in an accessible way — something a lot of parents are struggling to do right now. If you’re one of those parents who doesn’t know how to start the conversation, but understands that kids are overhearing a lot about COVID-19, both in your conversations and on the news (and on pretty much every media source), we’d recommend this helpful article from PBS. Remember to stay positive and present — and wash your hands!
