Everything You Should Know Before Getting Lip Injections
You probably should not get lip injections if you smoke cigarettes.

Many people who smoke cigarettes still get lip fillers, such as Juvederm. Although doctors reiterate that smoking is bad for your health, it should not have an effect on the appearance of your fillers. As well, some people who smoke cigarettes get facial fillers to reduce their “smoker lines†around their lips. But according to a study done by the Journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, smoking can have detrimental effects on people who get lip fillers. In a May 2008 study, all four of the patients who smoked suffered from late infections between two to six months after getting lip fillers.
