Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson May Have Just Gotten Caught Breaking Courtship Rules
Uh oh. Looks like we have another Duggar rebel on our hands here. Hot off the news that Josiah Duggar is courting again comes the scandal that is too much touching. Oh my. As you know, the Duggar family has some pretty strict rules when it comes to dating. They are not allowed to be alone together — meaning dates always have to be chaperoned. There is no hugging unless you do it the “right” way which is an odd side hug so there’s not too much touching.
But possibly one of the bigger rules from the Duggar family when you’re in the courting process is no touching. Like no kissing. No hand holding. Nothing.
However, it seems Josiah Duggar has been a little relaxed on that rule with his lady friend, Lauren Swanson.
The two are currently hanging together, touring Australia and New Zealand with the Institute of Biblical Life Principals, a controversial religious group. The couple is there with Josiah Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, and likely the rest of the 19 kids. Not exactly what people might consider a romantic getaway, but being out in a new place, being adventurous, can get those romantic feelings floating.
And that’s what Josiah Duggar is accused of doing.
According to RadarOnline, Josiah and Lauren have been hanging out a lot while on this jaunt with his family, but they’re not sticking to the strict rules. They have apparently been seen kissing, cuddling, and basically touching way too much for typical Duggar family protocol.

The gossip site shared some images that looks like the two are getting way too close. I have a feeling these images just look worse (LOL, like they’re not even bad) than they are, but scandal is scandal.
And there’s nothing quite like a Duggar scandal.
Really, they probably haven’t broken any rules and are being respectful of each other and their boundaries.
