If Mother’s Day Cards Were Honest
For some reason, Hallmark can’t always be counted on to come through with a card that says exactly what we’re thinking–at Mother’s Day or any other time of the year. If you’re looking for a Mother’s Day card to say exactly what’s on your mind, look no further.
It’s going to take more than one half-glass of wine and a heart-shaped martini. A lot more.
The relationship between a mother and her beloved children is a sacred thing, but so is Kraft dinner. Come on, mom.
There’s never a Hallmark card that says, “I love you but also love the fact that you live on a different continent”, for some reason.
We all know that’s what Mom really wants anyway.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
Just as long as you don’t get so drunk you tell Uncle Ted what you really think.
