At one point or another, each of the friends lived in Monica’s apartment. Phoebe was her roommate for a time. Rachel lived there for quite a while before bunking with Phoebe, Joey, and Ross. Chandler and Joey lived there when they won a bet and made the girls move across the hall. Off screen, Ross lived there for a year while his grandmother was still it’s main occupant, a year in which he tried to make it as a New York dancer.
