Mother-daughter relationships are usually fraught with comedic and sometimes dramatic elements, but when Madonna and daughter Lola decided to mock their own in a new Macy’s ad, they opted for the prior.
The duo chats over Macy’s open casting call for a “new material girl,” as Madonna laments that a younger generation may not possess the qualities that she is looking for. The two poke fun one at one another as Madonna mentions her distaste for hydrangeas while also saying that doesn’t “eat foods that [she] can’t identify.”
