Wrong Number Texts Between Mom and Stranger She Thinks Is Her Son Are Beyond Hilarious
Anyone living in the 21st century is no stranger to the beauty and horror that lies in text messages. Texting has made many of our lives better. It’s easier for us to get a-hold of certain people we might not normally be able to reach otherwise. But it’s also been the catalyst for many a text regret. Drunk texts are certainly a thing—a thing that has caused people to accidentally confess love, hate, and all kinds of mistakes. But few things are more entertaining than when a text convo goes wrong, as these texts did between a mom and a stranger she believes is her son.
There’s no real info about the mom, except that she’s got a son named Jess who is at least old enough to buy groceries at the store. The mom apparently thinks her son is at his friend Brad’s house, and she’s supposed to take them to the movies tonight. Thing is, she somehow accidentally texted some other person instead of her son. I’m not really sure how that could even happen, exactly, since most folks just select the contact on their phone. Does this mean she hasn’t saved her son’s number?
Or maybe he just switched numbers? The possibilities are endless. Here’s the start of the wrong number text conversation:
Now, right off the bat, the stranger is letting the mom know that she’s got the wrong number.
However, the mom doesn’t seem to understand or care. Maybe her son has pulled a similar stunt in the past?
So of course, the stranger decides maybe it’s time to mess with the lady. All in good fun, right? Let’s read on…
OK, so the guy has messed with the lady long enough.
He’s decided to try to really come clean. He’s an adult. He lives in Wisconsin (maybe she doesn’t even live there?) Is she finally going to listen?
So far it seems she’s still pretty convinced that it’s her son just messing.
Maybe we need to meet Jess and see why he messes with his mom so much? It keeps getting better. Mom is about to get pissed.
