This Unicorn Toy Scared the Crap Out of a Kid and We’re Sorry, but We’re Laughing

Sometimes the best part about being a parent is having a little fun at our kid’s expense. Nothing dangerous, of course! But if you haven’t pulled a good-natured prank on your children at some point, you’re missing out. Jessica Mags shared a video of her son reacting to a unicorn toy that has since gone viral, and it has parents everywhere laughing. And probably running out to get one of those toys for our own amusement.

The videos show Jessica demonstrating the unicorn toy that turns evil, then showing it to her young son. His reaction is priceless.

The unicorn toy is a Feisty Pet. It’s sort of like the toy version of a Sour Patch kid: sweet and sour.

She then showed her son the toy, and recorded his reaction. I should maybe feel badly for how loud I laughed at this video, but I don’t. Not even a little bit.

“He’s cute?” “Yeah, cute!” “RAWWWWWWRRRR!”

Her son was fooled by the sweet face of the unicorn, and completely unprepared for what came next. Honestly, toddlers can move pretty damn fast when they go into fight or flight mode.

Commenters couldn’t get enough of the videos and the little boy’s reaction. Everyone was laughing in the comments, and lots of people said they were running out to get one for themselves.

Obviously, a few people (but not many!) expressed concern for the child. There were a couple of admonishments for mom, because internet. But Jessica assured us that he was fine and is getting a kick out of watching the now mega-viral videos.

If you need to get one of these toys for your kids (but really for you), I’d recommend moving fast. Judging by the popularity of this video, we imagine lots of kids are going to be scared shitless when they find this under the tree this holiday season. I know mine will be!
