Hallelujah! Now There’s A Way To Delete Babies From Your Facebook Newsfeed

babies on facebookI’m a mother. I use Facebook. I even post photos of my children to Facebook. But my kids are adorable and awesome, and so every single one of my 500 Facebook friends loves seeing these photos.

Just kidding. I actually don’t post photos that often because I don’t want to be one of those moms. You know, the ones who upload multiple albums of their babies to Facebook each day, or the ones who show their child crapping on the potty, for instance, or enjoying their first solid meal of mushed-up peas.

Anyway, even those with self-awareness must still succumb to viewing countless photos of their friends’ kids something that’s equally irritating to both mothers and to those don’t give a shit about babies in the first place. But now there’s a Google Chrome extension called Unbaby.me that will automatically replace all the baby pics in your Facebook feed with pictures of cats, puppies, bacon and other “awesome” stuff. I find this freaking hilarious!

Unbaby.me has just come out, and so now people are wondering if it’s just a joke. I have yet to try it out myself but according to several people in the twittersphere, it’s for reals. Which is awesome. I can’t wait to find out how many people use it! I also can’t wait ’til someone comes out with the equivalent for annoying Facebook status updates.
