Uma Thurman Gave Her Daughter That Unusual Baby Name Because She Wasn’t Going To Have More Kids
Uma Thurman appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and explained why she and her boyfriend Arpad Busson decided on the baby name Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson for their daughter, and it was because they couldn’t decide on a baby name. Which makes perfect sense, because if you can’t decide on a single baby name, why not just choose a baby name that is actually five names, the majority of which no one has ever heard of. Uma also said that her daughter Maya had the best reason, and that was because ” that I probably wouldn’t get to have any more children, so I just put every name that I liked into it.” Now, choosing a baby name is a very personal choice, and my greatest regret in naming my own children is that I am done having them, so I no longer get to name one of them Hushpuppy.
Uma also said that when her daughter, who she refers to as simply Luna, grows up she can choose one of her unusual parts of her own baby name to christen her own child with:
”The rest she can just name her own children all these interesting names,” quips the proud mama. ”Proper Catholic, observant!”
And just like choosing a baby name, what religion someone practices is a very personal choice, so I won’t make a comment on that either. I may have an issue or 9037465 with Catholicism, but I shan’t get into that here.
Luna is a cute baby name! And it’s much easier to spell then the rest of her baby names. Now that I’m done having my own children, I love when pregnant women I know tell me they are having issues deciding on a baby name because it amuses me to no end to suggest absurd ones, like they choose the baby name “Dracula” or “Electric Bugaloo 2.” This joke is really only funny to me and sadly, one thing I’ve noticed, is that when a woman is heavily pregnant and stressed about her upcoming birth, she totally loses her sense of humor. Or else maybe my baby name choices just aren’t as great as I think they are.
