Sarah Palin’s Son Track Palin Filed For Divorce But Had To Watch A Video On How It Would Ruin His Child

Grandmother Sarah Palin can’t be too pleased about this — at least not publicly given all that political chest-thumping about upholding Christian values. Her oldest little boy, Track Palin, now 23-year-old, is parting ways with his wife of only a year and half, 22-year-old Britta Hanson.

TMZ reports that the parents to 1-year-old daughter, Kyla Grace Palin, who was conceived out of wedlock (since we’re keeping track of this technically “sinful” stuff), jointly filed for divorce. Because the pair lives in Alaska, joint paperwork means that many details have already been settled, including custody, child support, and property distribution.

However, reports indicate that the parents had to watch some parenting footage along with signing those divorce papers. No joke:

Track and Britta had to watch a 48-minute video about the impact of a failed marriage on the child.

No word on what Track, who is an Army reservist who served time in Iraq, procured from such an informational video, nor his soon-to-be ex-wife. But considering that the pair have reportedly already settled any custody disputes and financial issues, I’d say this “failed marriage” is kicking off on the right foot for young Kyla Grace. Comparatively, given that this particular corner of the family has yet to pioneer their own reality show with Kyla as the focal point (unlike somebody’s auntie), I surmise that also bodes well for the tot.
