Tough Love: Demi Moore’s Daughters Consider Restraining Order Against Their Mother

According to RadarOnline.com, they’re considering a restraining order against their mother – something Cobain had against her own train-wreck mom Courtney Love back in 2009. This is serious stuff, people. I mean, there’s drama in every family but you know things are bad when your (almost) grown children are looking to cut off contact altogether. Ouch.

Earlier this year, Demi collapsed and was rushed to hospital (apparently drugs and not eating were to blame). That came months after Demi’s high-profile divorce from Ashton Kutcher – a divorce that saw her devoured by sexist media. At the time, 23-year-old Rumer was by her mother’s side; clearly things have taken a turn for the worse.

Whether or not they go through with the restraining order remains to be seen, but the fact that it’s even a consideration means there’s some major drama going down. RadarOnline.com is reporting that the riff in their relationship is being caused by Kutcher, who’s still in contact with the girls – much to Demi’s dismay.

Of course, nobody knows what’s truly going on except for the family members themselves (this truth holds for all families, famous or not). But I do feel for all involved, Demi included. I just hope that the girls’ father Bruce Willis is stepping up to the plate. Sure, he’s probably busy with his newborn – 2-month-old Mabel Ray – but Willis did just teach his older girls about “shunning drama.” Lord knows, there’s a lot of drama to shun these days…
