Top 5 Things To Do While Feeding Your Newborn

Charlize Theron watches TV while bottle-feeding baby boy Jackson much to the chagrin of her mother. She tells US Weekly that’s she’s obsessed foaming-at-the-mouth obsessed with Games of Thrones. “That was my TiVo feed every two hours watching Games of Thrones,” she explains. “And my mom was like, ‘Do you think it’s fine that you’re feeding your son while there [are] sword fights?'”

This got me thinking about those non-stop feedings in the first place how that, along with changing diapers and getting your little one to sleep is an endless loop that pretty much takes up the entire day (and night). Society likes to paint a picture of the perfect mom gazing lovingly into her newborn’s eyes as she nourishes him with love (and nutrients). But let’s get real: most moms  I know whether they’re nursing or bottle-feeding pull a total Charlize and use the time to catch up on their favorite TV shows-slash-celebrity gossip. As they should!
