Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Have That Post-Divorce Glow

We’re just a few months shy of the year anniversary since Tom and Katie divorced in the blink of a news cycle. But already into the second semester of Suri Cruise‘s first year of school, the family is doing just dandy. Like super dandy. Positive post-divorce Katie Holmes Tom Cruise update for all.

Us Weekly reports that some “good friend” of TomKat’s– who is by definition not so good given that he just sold details regarding their relationship to the tabloids — says that co-parenting is going well.

Adam Shankman, a director who has worked with Tom Cruise, is now our go-to Katie Holmes divorce source:

“They are incredibly happy,” the Rock of Ages director said. “I’ve just been emailing with him. He’s coming back. He’s shooting [All You Need Is Kill] in London and seems as happy as a clam. I know he sees his daughter,” Shankman explained…”Katie seems really happy,” he added of the actress, who served as a guest judge with him on So You Think You Can Dance. “You just fight through all the noise. And it’s noisy!”

The whole sole custody arrangement for Katie, visitation for Tom, and plenty of Suri playground time in between appears to be working for the family. Here’s to more helicopter rides with daddy and copacetic co-parenting.
