A South Carolina mother was thrilled when she delivered her baby and saw that she and the little girl had something very unusual in common: the mom and baby have white hair “birthmarks” that make them both look like Rogue from X-Men.

23-year-old Brianna Worthy from Ridgeland, South Carolina, was born with a distinctive white patch in the front of her hair. According to The Daily Mail, it’s caused by a conditioned called “poliosis,” which causes a lack of pigment in the hair. Worthy’s was located righta t the front of her hair, and it looks super pretty. If you saw Worthy walking down the street, you’d think she just had a really cool dye job. But it’s not Maybelline, she was actually born with it. And her baby daughter MilliAnna has it, too.

The white streak is a family trait. Worthy’s mother and grandmother both have the same white patch. It could go back even further, but Worthy’s grandmother was adopted so they don’t know if she had other relatives with the white patch.

Worthy’s younger sister does not have the patch, though, so Worthy knew there was a chance her baby wouldn’t get it. She hoped, though.

“I was hoping she did have it. My younger sister that my mother had a few years after me didn’t get it, so I didn’t know if MilliAnna was going to,” Worthy told The Daily Mail. “But once I had her and they laid her on my chest and I saw she had it I was so happy.”

MilliAnna is astoundingly cute. It’s tough to get down the street, though, because when you’re rolling around as a cute mom and baby with white hair streaks that match, people stop you to make comments and ask questions a lot. People are always curious. Some probably thought she did it as a fashion statement so they’d match, but it’s actually just a very cool natural effect.
