10 Things Any Woman Can Look Forward To During Pregnancy
For me, pregnancy was okay. I didn’t have a bad time, but it was nothing to write home about. I personally am not a very patient person, so I was more so looking forward to the end product. I had a hard time glowing and radiating love and waiting for my baby to grow inside of me. I just wanted him to get out so that I could figure out the intimidating newborn stuff and get to know him already. Did I mention that I’m not very patient?
Pregnancy was so-so, and it definitely didn’t blow my skirt up. There were only a few super-amazing-tastic things that I did while pregnant, like setting aside an entire weekend to painstakingly create an amazing baby shower registry just because I had nothing better to do with my time. My husband was even kind enough to pretend like he really cared what type of newborn washcloths I registered for. What a guy.
Other than that, it was a long, desolate stretch of nine months, where I waited with anticipation for my water to break. If you’re anything like me, you may have been bored during your pregnancy too. Nine months is a long time to wait for the literal fruit of your labor.
