‘Teen Mom’ Star Catelynn Baltierra Turns Over a New Leaf in 2018

Looks like Catelynn Baltierra is looking forward to what 2018 has to bring. The Teen Mom OG star recently left treatment and plans to live a healthier life going forward. She is turning over a new leaf, which is exactly what her family needs right now.

Catelynn checked into rehab for suicidal thoughts last year. Fans of the show know that she deals with a lot of anxiety. She has panic attacks, suffers from depression, and is involved in a lot of unnecessary drama. Naturally, she uses marijuana and alcohol as a result.

Her drug use is featured on Teen Mom OG over the years. Some say she turns to substance abuse to cope with her emotional problems. However, it seems that she plans to put all of that behind her in the coming year. According to Cafe Mom, she plans to detox drugs and alcohol.

I wonder, will she put the drama of Teen Mom behind her too? Can you detox from your own reality show?

While she is no longer in rehab, Catelynn will be attending outpatient treatment. In November, she first admitted herself to treatment, only leaving the center once to spend the holiday with her family. Before she checked in, she admitted that she had ”thought of every way possible to commit suicide.” Thankfully, she was able to recognize what was happening and sought out help.

Her husband, Tyler, has been supportive of his wife through her treatment. He continues to support her.

Even now, he has committed to helping her reach her goals for the New Year. They plan to work together to make sure she stays on top of her therapy sessions and outpatient treatment.

Like the rest of us, Catelynn has committed to losing weight this year. Tyler plans to join her in that effort. He recently admitted that he has gained weight and is unhappy with his current appearance. The family that makes healthy choices together, stays together. They are both very optimistic about 2018.

We’re glad to hear that this Teen Mom is choosing to make positive changes in her life, for herself and her family.
