Taco Bell Will Serve Booze, and This Must be What Heaven Looks Like
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Taco Bell announced it’s plans to open 350 Cantina-style restaurants in cities around the country, and holy shit my life just improved tenfold. The Cantina locations will be sit-down establishments and will serve beer, wine, and margaritas. Tears in my eyes, guys.
In 2016, Taco Bell opened their flagship Cantina location in Las Vegas.
To no one’s surprise, it’s hugely popular. The restaurant is open 24-hours a day and serves frozen margaritas from a giant “Freeze wall”. Pick your flavor and add your favorite booze. Because Vegas.
Of course, Taco Bell is keeping the menu. Cheesy Gordita Crunch and a margarita? YES PLEASE.

The revamped locations will do-away with the drive-thru, because sending people off in a car with an alcoholic beverage probably isn’t a great idea. However, the restaurants will offer a fun atmosphere for dining-in. Plus the booze. Did we mention the booze?
I visited my first Alcoholic Taco Bell Cantina this summer & I can honestly say my life will never be the same.

Clearly, Taco Bell is just giving the people what we want. So far, they haven’t released a list of cities about to be blessed with a Taco Bell Cantina. I live really close to LA so I’m assuming we’ll get one. But I am willing to drive…pretty much anywhere to try it. It’s annoying to hit the drive-thru and then have to come home and make my own marg, you know what I mean? Just give me my Fiery Doritos Locos taco with a side of booze. And bring back the Naked Chicken Chalupa, don’t make me start a petition.
(Ok, I will totally start a petition.)
