Snooki has a lot going on right now. In addition to getting baby 7-month-old son Lorenzo baptized last week, the new mother is also working on pregnancy/parenting book. Nevermind that she’s also been busting her bum making that big splashy post-baby body debut. But despite Snooki’s busy reality TV mom schedule, Nicole Polizzi paused to give some glamorous labor tips to fellow reality TV starlet Kim Kardashian. How does one stay delivery chic in such an uncouth time as delivery? Snooki, now “celebrity baby correspondent,” saves the day!
Snooki writes on CelebBuzz, with an accompanying video, that “first impressions are everything,” and your infant is no exception, ladies:
I know everything there is to know about how to look glam during labor! It’s a bitch, but it’s worth it! First impressions are everything, so when you meet your baby for the first time, you have to look flawless.
If your face is already made up when your water breaks, you have plenty of time to do it in the hospital when you’re waiting to dilate. I waited 27 hours, and the whole time, I just put on makeup and watched cartoons.
You also have to make sure you choose your makeup palettes wisely, because the hospital rooms are boring, the walls are white; it’s just not a good look.
Other crucial takeaways include packing an extra set of eyelashes, scheduling that mani pedi a week before delivery, and investing in your own “glam” hospital gown. And don’t you dare forget those diamond studs on the big day.
