Somebody Should Really Tell Snooki You Don’t Give Birth In Heels

Snooki is following in the footsteps of Jessica Simpson by declaring she’ll give birth in heels. Okay, so Simpson was only joking when she told US Weekly, “I’m going to deliver my baby in these 4-inch YSL heels!” But Snooki? Not sure what her deal is except that she’s packing a ridiculous hospital bag. “I’m packing heels, my leopard-print gown, eyelashes and makeup,” the Jersey Shore star told In Touch. “I wanna look good when [my baby Lorenzo] first sees me.”

Oh, Snooki. Little does she know that all you actually need in your hospital bag is a toothbrush, some toothpaste, a hairbrush if you really want to go all out, Bubbie-style underwear plus dozens of super-absorbent pads. Oh, and socks! I can still remember packing a week’s worth of cute little pajamas the first time I gave birth. The second time around I think I shoved the essentials in my purse and was on my merry way.

But those celebs, man – they haven’t got a clue. Actually, Kourtney Kardashian had a clue. But Rachel Zoe, for instance – I remember she packed Chanel sweaters and 8-inch stiletto boots in her hospital bag when she was pregnant with baby Skyler. “The problem is, it’s such an unglamorous experience that if you feel really unattractive, it makes it so much worse,” she explained at the time (which, in a strange way, I kind of do understand).

But back to Snooks. She also plans to wear a push present that she has yet to receive fiancé Jionni LaValle – a Pandora bracelet with baby charms. Jionni better get on that…
