’tis the season… of Baby Yoda. The DisneyPlus icon made famous by Star Wars show, The Mandalorian has solidified a spot in viewers and non-viewers’ hearts with his completely meme-able qualities, big eyes, and cute face. ‘Baby Yoda gifts’ is one of the hottest searches this holiday season and now, a Pennsylvania hospital is making Baby Yoda even more legendary. UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, annually dresses the infants in the maternity ward in festive costumes — and this year, they donned creative onesies with Yoda-esque remarks and crocheted caps to looks like Baby Yoda’s ears and a Santa Claus hat!

Swooning, we are.

The hospital’s official Twitter shared the pics first, saying, “This year, these babies are out of this galaxy cute!”

The onesies have saying like “Cute, I am,” and “Merry, I must be,” and their nurses got to rock tee-shirts with matching phrases!

”Cute, it was,” one new father who happens to be a HUGE Star Wars fan told Good Morning America about his newborn baby, Jackson, all dressed up like Baby Yoda!

Nurse Caitlin Pechin has been crocheting for the babies at UPMC for over a year now and started at her position in 2017. Last year, she created “ugly Christmas sweaters” for the newborns! The event was called “Ugly Sweaters, Cute Babies”! Caitlin sells her crochets on Esty and has a whole section dedicated to baby items including booties, pint-sized sweaters, and a Football hat.

Clearly, this nurse is in the right business! There’s going to be a whole new generation of Star Wars fanatics, now, thanks to UPMC and we’re so happy about that!
