Red Lobster Workin’ Teen Allegedly Receives Racist Receipt In Lieu Of A Tip

As usual, my lovely readers, we have to take this with a grain of salt because there is no actual proof that the teenage girl in this story actually had this happen to her, but I will state that I do believe her because she knew that not only would her employers scrutinize this receipt and possibly inform law enforcement, but that the second the media got a hold of this all of them would be fact-checkin’ this story too. Plus, as you all know, there are a hella lot of racist creeps in this country and I can totally see this happening. Toni Christina Jenkins, a 19-year-old girl who works a few shifts a week at a Red Lobster (Where it’s basically, always and forever, Lobsterfest. I’m sorry but whenever I see a commercial for Red Lobster it’s always the same damn thing. When, exactly, is it NOT Lobsterfest? Like maybe two days in March?) served a young couple in their twenties and in lieu of a receipt they left her this:

‘It’s all very surprising to me. When I posted it I thought it might get a few ‘likes’ from friends and family. People praying for me, that kind of thing. I didn’t think it would escalate this quickly. I am just a 19-year-old nursing student.’

The branch of Red Lobster in Franklin where Miss Jenkins works has now suspended the teenager on full pay until they decide what to do next.

Couldn’t they track down the creeps who did this by their restaurant receipt? At the very least they should make an apology. I don’t understand why the restaurant suspended Toni either, when it’s obvious if this story is true she did absolutely nothing wrong. It’s all so depressing, but I hope they get to the bottom of this and if this jerk couple did this they make amends. Or if they won’t apologize, I hope they at least get a raging case of seafood poisoning. Creeps.
