Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last year, you’ve heard of the show Queer Eye. But if you haven’t, here’s a recap. In February of 2018, the world met the Fab Five and it was love at first sight. Queer Eye is a Netflix reboot of Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which you may remember from the early 00s. This update follows the same basic plot of the original, but with a healthy dose of originality. But this new version, is about more than just cleaning up a straight guy’s house and giving him a haircut. This Fab Five is really about making drastic improvements to the lives of the “heroes” they make over. And now the trailer for the newest season is here and we’re dying.

For season three, the Fab Five: Antoni Porowski (food), Tan France (fashion), Jonathan Van Ness (grooming), Karamo Brown (culture) and Bobby Berk (interior design) take on the good people of Kansas City. Always looking for ways to change up the game, this season, the boys will help their first lesbian. Those who’ve seen the show will remember the group’s first woman makeover was in season two with Mama Tammye. Additionally, this season will also see the group making over their first duo. Not much info is given in the trailer, but Bobby Berk gave hints on his Instagram late last week ahead of the trailer release.

Season 3 doesn't officially air until March 15th but I am thrilled to get to share a sneak peek of one of my favorite episodes!!! These sisters right here are one (of many!) reasons I cannot wait for you to see #season3. We are so privileged to meet such wonderful people doing this show and Deborah and Mary are two of them. Nominated by Deborah's daughter, they are our first set of sisters, amongst the few female pit-masters in Kansas City and their relationship is an amazing example of the true meaning of family. We not only got to help with their personal lives but we also got a chance to do something a little different and help with their business, Jones Bar-B-Q. Head to my stories for more! #queereye

As always, the boys are full of the usual joy and compassion they’ve become famous for. One of the things that makes this iteration of the show successful is how deeply they care for their subjects. Anyone who watches Queer Eye knows how much energy the Fab Five put in their work. Each of them understand that the changes they’re making in these people’s lives are long lasting. And they don’t take that responsibility lightly.

Since the show has become a phenomenon in the year since its initial release, season three looks like it got a little upgrade. Mainly in the fact that it’s introducing us to a new song, “Now That I Found You,” sung by Carly Rae Jepsen. The show’s theme song “All Things,” is sung by Betty Who.
