Prince George Looks Tired As He Reveals His Post-Birth Body In New Zealand

I know we must make some concessions due to the fact that he had just landed after a 30 hour flight, but I cannot be the only one who is thinking that Prince George, son of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and third in line to the throne looks a bit exhausted in these images. It’s obvious that he may be in need of a nap, judging by his mussed up hair and the way he clenches his fists as his mother holds him in his arms.

I’m joking of course, he looks like a baby! Like an adorable, happy, sweet little baby! But I’m just waiting for all the tabloids to start baby shaming a baby for looking like a baby because now that the world feels the need to body shame moms who just had a baby we may as well all start going after their offspring too. What I did find sort of amusing is that The Daily Mail is engaging in some armchair-sanctimommying, by stating that:

Arriving in New Zealand on the first day of a three-week trip Down Under, the third in line to the throne took the windswept welcome in his stride, although he looked a little chilly in a cream jumper and shorts.

Grandmas and old people of the world rejoice! They are doing that thing that OLD people love to do which is basically saying:

SHOULDN’T YOU PUT A SWEATER ON THE BABY!?

Any mom is all too familiar with being told this, no matter if it is over 100 degrees and you are out with your infant, someone, somewhere thinks your baby is cold and will be all too happy to tell you as much.

He doesn’t look cold to me, he looks loved and well-fed and happy and adorable and just as cute as can be.

But he does look bored. Does he look bored to you guys? Maybe they aren’t stimulating the baby enough? Is George getting enough tummy-time? Shouldn’t he have a stuffed animal or rattle or some organic developmental plaything with him?

I’m trying super hard to make baby shaming a thing here, people.
