Stranger on Plane Saves Day for Everybody By Cuddling Adorable Baby to Sleep with ‘the Power of Boobies’

A father traveling with a small baby was having a terrible time of things, and when a baby kicks up a fuss on a plane, it’s a problem for everybody in the area. But the day was saved on one flight by an extremely nice passenger who volunteered her services as an in-flight baby snuggler so the baby, and the beleaguered dad, could have a nap.
A Reddit user going by SurpriseMotherFucka posted the story to imgur.
“I was having an awful travel experience on Sunday after my SO and I got separated in Chicago due to weather. This was only little man’s 2nd flight ever (8mo old) and he was doing so well until he wanted to go see my neighbor in the window seat,” he wrote.
That’s such a familiar visual. Everything is going normally with a baby, and then suddenly the baby is like, “Wait, I want to go see that person!” even if that person is a complete stranger.
Maybe the baby could sense those “I want to hold that baby” vibes coming off the lady in the next seat, because after a few minutes of wrestling his dad to try to crawl over there, the lady opened her arms wide and laughed, “Oh just give him to me!”
The exhausted father happily handed over the squirmy baby, who immediately snuggled up on the lady’s chest and fell sound asleep.
“Power of the boobies,” she joked.
“She then proceeds to tell me that if I wanted to take a quick nap that she would be more than happy to hold him while he slept. After multiple cancellations and layovers I selfishly agreed to give her watch over my precious child so that I could catch a quick cat nap,” the dad wrote. “The kindness of this stranger was truly refreshing on what was quickly becoming one of the worst days in a long time. There is still hope!”
The lady in the next seat has a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old of her own, and she was probably almost as happy to get those baby snuggles as the father was to get some sleep. That is one snuggly baby. She could have just played with her phone or watched TV or read a book, but instead she did a huge favor for a stranger by offering to hold his baby so he could get some sleep. That’s well above and beyond the call of “strangers on a plane” politeness. Some cute baby snuggles are a nice reward for a very generous gesture.
