On the Baby Center boards one TigEr1212 asked her fellows, “My family loves the name Liam, and I like it too, but I’m a serial nick-namer…(Danny, Mikey, etc) Anybody know a Liam that’s called anything besides Liam? Lee maybe?” She got some interesting responses. One was, “My friend has a Liam who calls himself Lima (he’s 2). It’s funny and has stuck as a NN. Sometimes they aren’t planned and derived from the name, they just happen.” Our favorite? “I have a Liam, his mn I Theodore, we call him LT on occasion. Maybe initials could work for you too.”
