Parents Who Pulled Kids From Nursery Because Of Sexy Teacher Should Get Over It

michela rothThere’s an ongoing debate as to a teacher’s rights outside the classroom. For example, some would argue that what a teacher does during off hours so long as it’s legal is nobody’s business but his own. Others claim that a teacher represents his or her school no matter what, even if it happens to be 1 a.m. at a bustling downtown club. The latest saga at an Italian nursery proves just how ridiculous these non-official “rules” can be. That’s because angry parents have pulled their children after learning that a teacher posed in sexy lingerie for a Harley Davidson calendar. (Know that this took place during non-school hours.)

The Daily Mail reports that 38-year-old Michela Roth upset mothers but not fathers after news leaked that she had posed “provocatively.” American-born Roth, who teachers at Castello di Serravalle near Bologna, says that modeling is her second job. “I do shoots when school is over and especially in the holidays when I am back in the United States. I am always dressed in the pictures and never naked.”

Roth goes on to say that she once considered a full-time career in modeling but that teaching is her passion. As she sees it, some of the moms are jealous. “I do think there is a little bit of envy going on here and it has gone over the top there are also moms who tell me that their children can’t wait to see me in the morning.”

According to The Daily Mail, one parent who pulled her child from the school explained, “She is too attractive and I don’t want her teaching my son.” Is this for real? Honestly, it’s mothers like these who are an embarrassment to all of womankind. I don’t see what the problem is one bit, and I think it’s ridiculous that they’re causing such a stink (even commenting on it would be silly; actually pulling your child from the school is just outrageous). It’s not like this woman posed nude fro Playboy!

“You just have to ask anyone at the school who will tell you that I am a complete professional when it comes to being a teacher and a model,” Roth said. “I’ve heard that the parents who have withdrawn their children are in the park trying to convince the other parents to do the same. I imagined I might get some criticism but I never thought parents would take their children out of the school.”

This all sounds like a crappy episode of Desperate Housewives, and it’s pathetic. I hate to say it but these moms really need to get a life.
