People suffer and die from anorexia. It's not a funny or clever idea for a costume, it's making light of all the pain and loss people go through. It's like making a costume of a cancer patient. It trivializes the illness that has killed so many and ruined lives. And anorexia is just as much of an illness as cancer. In fact, anorexia kills more people than cancer. Can people just stop and think about what it would be like to slowly starve yourself to death? Honest question: would people laugh at someone dressed up as a cancer patient? Because anorexia is a disease, and it kills people.
