This Man’s Reaction to Sitting Next to Nick Jonas on a Plane Is Peak Dad

When Twitter user Deanna Hall’s father boarded a plane last week, he had no idea the man sitting next to him was famous. It was only after hearing the whispers of his fellow passengers that he realized something was up with his seatmate. Still, it took a text exchange with his daughter for Mr. Hall to realize that he was sitting next to the one and only Nick Jonas.

Mr. Hall, who was seated in first class, had no idea who the “Nick Jonas” everyone was whispering about was, so he turned to his daughter for help.

“Who is Nick Jonas,” he texted to his daughter.

Deanna replied, “A famous singer, I love him, he was part of the Jonas brothers.” There are no time stamps but I’m willing to bet she replied to her dad within seconds.

Like a typical dad, Mr. Hall oh-so-nonchalantly dropped that Nick Joans just so happened to be sitting next to him on the plane.

Mr. Hall loves his daughter, so he was happy to oblige, first with a picture of just Nick.

And then he dropped this photo of the two of them together.

That face says, “My daughter’s gonna flip her shit when she sees this.”

(Also, is that Kate Gosselin giving them the stink eye? Please advise.)

Deanna shared the text exchange and photos on Twitter, where people were instantly taken with her adorable pop.

A flight attendant who was on the plane even chimed in!

Unfortunately for Deanna, Mr. Hall didn’t manage to get her an autograph…but she’ll always have the selfies.
