Do you have a mother? Of course you have a mother! We all have mothers, good moms, bad moms, old moms, young moms, alive moms, dead moms, moms who adopted us and moms who gave us away and what they all have in common is that they all have taught us things.

The subject of this essay contest is ”What My Mother’s Biggest Parenting Mistake Has Taught Me About Parenting.”

And that’s pretty amazing because what could be better than talking about the greatest mistake your own mom has ever made? Nothing, I tell you. I’m fully prepared that one day my own children will each pen bestsellers all about the mistakes I have made whilst raising these people.

Your submission should be between 600-800 words and you can email them to entries(AT)mommyish(DOT)com. Please include your first and last name, date of birth and complete mailing address along with the submission.

We will run our favorites the week leading up to Mother’s Day and the winning submission will be featured on Mommyish on Mother’s Day. The lucky winner will also receive an amazing gift basket.
