Mommywood: Celebrity Moms Dish On Pregnancy, Parenthood And Sexuality

Remember when Demi Moore posed naked, in all her pregnant glory, on the cover of Vanity Fair? That was in 1991, though the fact that it was considered to be such a bold and controversial move makes it feel more like 1961. Today we don’t even flinch at the site of a pregnant celeb flaunting her goods thanks in large part to social media sites like Twitter and Facebook (case in point: just days before Victoria Beckham gave birth to little Harper Seven, proud hubby David Beckham posted a shot of pregnant Posh on his Facebook wall).

But with this exposure comes a new wave of public scrutiny. Celeb moms are everywhere: on Twitter, Facebook, gossip sites and on the cover of countless magazines from Allure to InStyle. In the past few weeks alone we’ve welcomed to the world Harper Seven, Kase Townes (Jewel and Ty Murray‘s baby boy), Alef (Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied‘s little guy), as well as Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy‘s yet-to-be-named bundle in blue. And a slew of celebs are still with bump, including Alyssa Milano, Jessica Alba and Tori Spelling.

What’s always amusing is to see what these celeb moms and those before them have to say about pregnancy, childbirth, parenting and life as a new mom. We’ve rounded up the latest bits and bites of motherhood the good, the bad and the ugly Hollywood-style.
