Mommyish Editor-In-Chief Shawna Cohen Talks Mommy Wars On ‘The Morning Show’

Today marks the launch of The Morning Show on Global TV, and Mommyish Editor-in-Chief Shawna Cohen popped by to talk Mommy Wars with host Liza Fromer.

The women both moms to kids ages 5 and 2 discussed the Top 5 things not to say to both working moms and stay-at-home moms, including the oh-so condescending “Good for you for putting your career first” (a working-mom favorite) and “What do you do with all that free time?” (SAHMs just love this).

Cohen also brought up the notion of guilt that affects so many modern moms, whether we choose to stay with the kids all day, work outside the home and anything in-between (that’s you, work-from-home moms!). And that, at the end of the day, the Mommy Wars are all in our head (who has time to judge when we’re busy tackling our own internal struggles?).
