Mike Huckabee’s 9/11 Cartoon For Kids (Yup, You Read That Right)

There is so much wrong with this video below, I don’t even know where to begin. It’s actually a short promotional clip for a longer “educational” cartoon intended to teach kids about 9/11. The man behind the video? Fox News personality and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee.

For $9.95 that’s right, Huckabee will be profiting from this horrific tragedy you can order the video just in time for the 10th anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks. Called 9/11 & The War on Terror, it’s distributed by Learn Our History, a company that makes education videos about U.S. history for children (other titles include The Reagan Revolution and Origins of World War II).

Here’s how the company describes its latest video:

In this important film, the time traveling teenagers learn about America’s heroic response to the tragic events of 9/11. They strive to understand why Al-Qaeda attacked us and how the ongoing War on Terror protects Americans at home and American ideals abroad.

The clip begins with a plane approaching one of the Twin Towers and then cutting to a series of apparent teenagers yelling “No!” and asking, “Who would do something like this?” Perfect setup for an in-depth lesson on Osama Bin Laden, the War on Terror and George W. Bush.

View it for yourself and you’ll be blown away by how much it feels like an SNL skit or King Of The Hill-like parody (minus any intelligence).
