Michelle Duggar Spreads Lies About Transgender People In This Robocall You Have To Hear To Believe

Michelle Duggar Signs Copies Of "A Love That Multiplies"I don’t watch 19 Kids And Counting because I think reproducing until your penis and/or vagina simply can’t do it anymore is downright irresponsible. I basically hate everything the Duggars stand for, from their irresponsible need to overpopulate the earth to forcing abstinence on their adult children. I have another thing to add to my list today – Michelle Duggar is spreading lies about transgender people in a ridiculously offensive robocall she put together to combat an anti-discrimination bill in her home state of Arkansas.

Alderman Matthew Petty composed a bill to handle complaints from Fayetteville residents who have suffered discrimination. The Fayetteville Flier notes, “state and federal laws prohibit some discrimination, but in Arkansas, a person can be fired for being gay or evicted for no other reason than being a transgender tenant.” The bill would work to ensure that people have equal access to employment, housing and public accommodations. It would ban businesses from “discriminating against people based on real or perceived race, ethnicity, national origin, age, gender, gender identity, gender expression, familial status, marital status, socioeconomic background, religion, sexual orientation, disability and veteran status.”

Apparently it would also allow transgender people to use the proper restroom. This is the part of the bill that Duggar can’t wrap her tiny little brain around. Bigots like Duggar and the Family Council of Arkansas are using this part of the bill to scare those who know nothing about transgender people into believing they are wolves in sheep’s clothing – just waiting for this opportunity to prey on “innocent women and children” in public restrooms. There is so much stupid here it’s incredible:

Hello, this is Michelle Duggar. I’m calling to inform you of some shocking news that would affect the safety of Northwest Arkansas women and children. The Fayetteville City Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men yes, I said men to use women’s and girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only. I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls. I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space. We should never place the preference of an adult over the safety and innocence of a child. Parents, who do you want undressing next to your daughter at the public swimming pool’s private changing area?

Are you okay? Have you had a rage stroke? Has your head exploded, or are you cool to continue reading this article? There is so much ignorance in her statement, it’s unbelievable.

The ordinance would allow transgender people to use the bathroom in which they feel most comfortable – and physically safe. Duggar paints a picture of a depraved predator. It’s absurd. City Attorney Kit Williams points out, in the Arkansas Times:

The claim that this ordinance would provide predators with access to women’s restrooms in order to assault or leer at girls or women is nothing more than fear-mongering. This ordinance does allow transgender people to use the bathroom in which they feel most comfortable and physically safe. Transgender people ”” who are far more likely to be the victims of harassment and violence if forced to use a bathroom that is inconsistent with their gender identity or expression ”” deserve to have the ability to use the bathroom in peace and safety. Using the bathroom is a basic human function and denying that to a person is inhumane.

So not only is Michelle Duggar’s carbon footprint larger than any mother you will ever meet – she’s also a bigot who is so stupid that she will publicly endorse stopping an ordinance that simply promotes equality for everyone.

Good job, lady.
