Michele Bachmann Was The Basis For An Up And Coming ‘Mommy Porn’
In the days before Fifty Shades Of Grey, it was romance novels that were apparently causing apron-clad mommies to dismiss themselves early from dinner and go to the bedroom to read — or so the silly narrative goes? But the latest “mommy porn” heroine isn’t a bright-eyed 21-year-old college graduate, but rather a keenly ripped version of Michele Bachmann.
Heck, I’m game.
The Atlantic reports that Michele Bachmann “was the muse” for the leading lady in Fires of Siberia. The romance novel, due out June 1st, was penned by Tréy Sager. And those 153 pages were reportedly very much inspired by real life politico happenings. A “bodice ripper”about the Tea Party? SEXY TIME:
Inspired by the life of Tea Party leader and Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Fires of Siberia is an old-fashioned bodice ripper romance that brings the heat for the 2013 summer beach reading season. Presidential candidate Danielle Powers, full of firebrand pluck and red state sex appeal, has the country in a tizzy. But on an international tour to beef up her foreign policy experience, disaster ensues—her plane explodes over Siberia. Miraculously, Danielle survives, along with one other passenger—a mysterious stranger named Steadman Bass. Trapped in a wilderness of snow and ice, the two begin a journey that pushes Danielle to the brink. There she must confront her deepest self and choose between civilization and a wild, primitive ecstasy. All the while, Steadman harbors a terrible secret that threatens to destroy them both.
And for those of you too embarrassed to be seen reading the sexy Tea Party book, pop only $2.99 to get that erotica on Kindle. For all anyone else knows, you could just be reading Fifty Shades. Guilty pleasure pyramid officially adjusted.
