Best Boyfriend Ever Uses His Lady’s Pinterest Boards To Plan A Surprise Wedding

Engagements and weddings really aren’t my thing. I don’t have anything against love or the act of marriage or anything like that – I’m just not one of those people who ever fantasized about her perfect wedding. But even my black heart melted a little when I saw this story. A man used his girlfriend’s Pinterest boards to execute a surprise proposal and wedding – on the same day.

By chance, 27-year-old Ryan Leak overheard his girlfriend Amanda Roman tell a friend that she thought it would be cool to get engaged and married on the same day. Leak was inspired, and spent a whole year trying to figure out a way to make a surprise like that happen.

Ryan Leak and his girlfriend Amanda Roman had discussed marriage, so he was obviously clear that this wasn’t going to be a huge fail. The couple flew to Miami under the guise that they were helping a friend move. Once they got there, their friends and families were waiting to help execute the bride’s dream wedding.

Leak used his girlfriend’s Pinterest boards to plan every detail of the wedding; the dress, the ring, the cake, the flowers – they were all “chosen” by Roman – even though she didn’t need to lift a finger to make any of it happen. Some people may be adverse to having a wedding “sprung” on them, simply because they would want to plan the details of such an important day. This guy is a genius. His girlfriend did plan it – inadvertently.

As someone who would never want to deal with all of the details involved in planning a wedding – I think this is genius. But then again, I’m not the kind of person to pin fantasy wedding boards, so my man would be shit out of luck.
