Maddy Blythe Can’t Pay Football With The Boys Because Boys Can’t Control Their ‘Lustful’ Thoughts
All 12-year-old Maddy Blythe wants to do is play some football but she won’t be allowed to next year at Strong Rock Christian School because vaginas. And bibles. For real. Vaginas are nothing but trouble and even though Madison was  first string defensive tackle and made like four sacks the school’s athletic director told Maddy’s mom that:
Maddy and her mom told Dore the CEO of the school said boys have lustful thoughts and bad language and cited the Bible.
“That men and women are created equal but different, and he said that he prayed about it and it was the wrong thing to do,” Maddy said.
So basically God told him to kick Maddy off the football team because of vagina. Cassy Blythe, Maddy’s mom and a former cop (and yeah, I’m sure according to some people the bible also states that ladies cannot be police people because of vagina) told channel 11 Alive that:
‘I was told that the reasons behind it were one, that the boys were going to start lusting after her and have impure thoughts about her and that the locker room talk was not appropriate for a female to hear even though she had a separate locker room from the boys’
And that the official stance of the school is that:
“Our official policy is that middle school girls play girl sports and middle school boys play boy sports.”
So, girl sports. Like cheerleading. Maddy can’t play football wearing a full uniform and a helmet because the boys may have lustful thoughts about her but she should totally go and put on a short skirt and wave some pom-poms around on the sidelines because no boys in the history of the world have ever lusted after a cheerleader. Maddy has said that all of the boys on the team are very supportive of her and a lot of them are her friends. Shouldn’t it be her decision if she is being made uncomfortable to speak up about it, rather than just assuming all the boys are members of the Future Rapists Of Americaâ„¢ and can’t be trusted to act with respect?
