Little Girl Makes Mom a Necklace that Looks Just Like a Penis, and the Internet Can’t Stop Laughing
If there are any pregnant ladies out there who are worried about how to prepare for motherhood, they could read What to Expect When You’re Expecting, but a more realistic preparation would involve looking at every penis drawing on Tumblr and practicing keeping a straight face while saying, “What a lovely rocket ship, sweetie!” Because to have children is to be surrounded at all times by a barrage of dick pics whose tiny authors think they look like snails, space ships, elephants, etc.
Fortunately, a U.K. mom named Laura who Instagrams as Love Lottie Lots was ready to proudly wear the “guitar” necklace her daughter proudly tied around her neck this week.
Laura managed to keep a straight face, but her Instagram followers sure didn’t, because here’s what Laura’s new necklace looks like:
According to Someecards, the parents of Instagram were cry-laughing over Laura’s new necklace, and it’s true that if we haven’t been there yet, we probably will be. The world of childhood is full of things that look like dicks–bananas, Beaker from The Muppets, the entire state of Florida–and our children are the authors of most of it.
The best part of this, of course, is that this guitar necklace is going straight in the “art to save forever” pile, so someday Laura’s daughter will see it again, recognize it immediately, and then have to keep a straight face while her mother–now a pro at pretending things do not look like penises–will say, “Look at this great guitar necklace you made for me”
“Oh my God, mom!” the now-teenager will say.
“What? It’s so sweet? Look, there are even strings so I can strum it!”
Of course, turnabout is fair play, and the teenagers of the world are apparently constantly taking formal photos in front of graffiti only to discover on later viewing that they had giant penis drawings behind their heads.
If there’s any justice in the world, our kids will grow up to accidentally find themselves sitting in front of giant drawings of dicks in their senior photos.
