Lindsay Lohan ‘Officially Pregnant’ In Officially Late April Fool’s Joke & Internet Responds In Officially Awful Way

Poor Lindsay Lohan. Not only because she made a failsauce super late April Fool’s tweet that said:

 

But because after she made this Tweet it was met with a whole lot of nasty replies:

 

 

Now, I think we can all agree that this is more than likely an ill-timed April Fool’s Joke. But what if it wasn’t? The entire world is all-too familiar with Lilo’s problems, her arrests, her numerous fights in public with her parents, the fact she has just been ordered to 90 days of residential rehab, 18 months of psychological counseling and 30 days of community service – it’s sort of common knowledge that Lindsay is a bit of a mess. But does that mean that she should be subjected to this type of bile, and even worse, what if it were true and she was actually pregnant?

Sure, you can argue that it’s all Lindsay’s fault for being a train-wreck and behaving in ways that would insure her place in the Hollywood paparazzi hype machine, but ya’ll, I can still remember when Lindsay looked like this:

 

Once upon a time, Lindsay was a baby who was held and fed and rocked to sleep. She grew up and skinned her knees and rode a bike and probably hugged some pets and had a favorite doll she slept with. She probably cried when she was scared and laughed a lot and sang made-up songs and colored outside the lines and begged someone to tell her one more story. Just like my kid does, just like a lot of your kids do. And even though she has grown up and doesn’t seem like the kindest or most “together” person, at one time she was just a little girl, just like we all were. And to watch as she struggles through this life and makes bad decisions and is met with so much hate from people, well, that really bums me out.

Lindsay doesn’t seem like she is in a good place in her life where she should be bringing a baby into the world, but I would hope that if she actually were pregnant the world wouldn’t be such an ugly place for her to bring a baby into. Yes, Lindsay has some major substance abuse problems but it isn’t like she has raped or murdered anyone. Other than the people she has mistreated and stolen from it sort of seems like the only person she is really hurting is herself. I hope if she ever does decide to be for-real pregnant, the “well-wishes” and “congratulations” she receives are a bit less hateful and a bit more supportive.
