Kate Middleton’s Maternity Wear Is Cheap Enough For Mere Mortals
Kate Middleton‘s Royal Pregnancy has been predictably documented through her clothing choices. If the mother-to-be is not busting out of her coat when lookers-on are bump hungry than she is wearing incredibly chic pregnancy shawls. But a new trend is emerging in the biggest pregnancy to ever happen ever. You guys, Kate Middleton may be a duchess but she is not solely devoted to the fancy maternity gear.
Us Weekly reports that Kate recently went shopping at a “high-end furniture store” in London. Obviously, a head to toe evaluation of her ensemble, hair, body, and every follicle followed:
Middleton, 31, who is expecting her first child with husband Prince William in July, showed off her growing baby bump in a short, royal blue ASOS dress with an empire tie waist. She accessorized the look with a bright purple cardigan and slingback wedges. The best part about her ensemble? The $42 price tag!…An eyewitness told Us Weekly, “She looked gorgeous. Her hair was silky and from the front you would never even guess she was pregnant, but boy was there a bump! She looked marvelous.”
An ASOS dress? Why I have about 12 of those — and as much I would like to offer my services as the Kate Middleton temp while she goes on maternity leave, I have yet to hear back from Buckingham Palace.
Kate also recently wore another pedestrian/muggle number from H&M not too far back that reportedly cost only £38. In princess cash, that’s practically free.
