The Cambridges Leave The Hospital With The Royal Princeling And Kate Looks Gorgeous

Kate Middleton and Prince William have left the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital in Paddington, London with the future King Of England in tow. Kate looks absolutely glowing. Prince William said he has a good set of lungs on him and he has Kate’s looks thankfully. They are still working on a name. The couple were met by thousands of well wishers who had gathered outside the hospital in anticipation of the royal birth.

The new parents are expected to bring the infant prince to Nottingham Cottage and then when William returns to work, Kate will live with the baby in her parent’s mansion in Berkshire. By October, the family is expected to move into their apartment in Kensington Palace. This apartment is a 20 room, four storey apartment so it sounds pretty much exactly like the apartments most people live in, you know, with the five reception room and walled garden. Kate and her son had many visitors earlier today, including both sets of grandparents. Also her hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker, showed up with an assistant to the hospital with a drycleaning bag and car seat in tow. From the Daily Mail:

Her young aide was carrying a Britax Baby-Safe Infant Carrier car seat, which retails from £99.99 – the future king’s first throne.

She also carried a dress beneath a protective dry-cleaning sheet – presumably the dress Kate will wear to greet the world for the first time since becoming a mother, and in which she will introduce us to her son.

 

So you taking notes all you mamas-to-be? The carseat you want is a Britax.

I hope this is the last we see of the Cambridges and their baby for a while. This new family deserves their privacy and to get used to their new roles as parents, and to prepare their baby for the fact that he will one day be the King Of England. If I see any post-baby body weight shaming posts about Kate, I’ll punch someone in the throat.
