Kate Middleton Bought A Blue Bugaboo, So Obviously They’re Having A Boy

I love speculating about the sex of babies! I do! I love it even more when parents just come out and tell you what the sex is, but that’s a whole other conversation. I’m glad everyone’s favorite Royal couple isn’t ruining months of tabloid speculation by revealing the sex of their baby. But Kate Middleton has confessed to buying a blue Bugaboo so she’s definitely having a boy, right?

To be fair, the couple has insisted that they don’t know the sex of the child. I’m always jealous of people who can wait to find this out. I can’t even wait to find out what I’m having for lunch today. I always thought it would be fun to be surprised about the sex of the baby. Actually, I was surprised by it. At the five-month ultrasound.

There was speculation about whether Bugaboo had gifted the blue stroller to the couple. Bugaboo says “no way” because we were all advised not to send gifts and Bugaboo does not tackily disregard people’s wishes. So yes, Kate bought the stroller herself.

I do love this couple and I think it’s pretty cute that they are keeping the sex to themselves. I know they say they don’t know the sex, but I imagine it would be necessary to keep some things to yourself when you are in the public eye. I’m going to just engage in my own fantasy that they know what the baby is and want to have a little private fun before he or she arrives.

I’d love to see a little girl riding in this stroller, too. Can we get over the whole pink and blue  thing already? I think Kate would be quite a trendsetter if she turns her back on conventional gender color schemes. I can’t believe I’m even thinking about this so much. Sorry. I have Royal fever. I have since I watched Princess Diana walk down the aisle in that amazing train.
