Joy-Anna Duggar is ‘Testifying’ About Marriage, Has Been Married Less Than a Year

All I’m saying is, in order to be an “expert” at something, it’s probably a good idea to have a bit more experience in it. Joy-Anna Duggar has kept a pretty low profile since giving birth to son Gideon a month ago. Out of all the Duggars, she’s probably the least active on social media. She’s only shared a few pictures since his birth. But she came out of hiding to plug a marriage retreat owned by her in-laws, and announced that she and husband Austin would be “testifying” about married life. Which, OK? I guess? But … they’ve been married for less than a year. So I’m not sure exactly how effective their testimony would be. But I suppose if the Duggars know anything, it’s how to get married!

Fort Rock Family Camp is owned by Austin’s parents, Terry and Roxanne Forsyth. It’s billed as a place families can come to rejoice in fellowship with other Christians, whatever that means. They also hold a marriage retreat every year, where couples who’ve accepted Christ into their lives can expound on their virtue or … something.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth got married when she was 19. Gideon was born before they hit their one-year anniversary. I don’t know that they have a lot of testimony to give. And fans are wondering the same.

But they’re Duggars! So it’s fine. They’ll most likely be married for life, because that’s what Duggars do. And some fans think they have plenty of advice to offer.

Personally, I wouldn’t take advice from or listen to ANY Duggar when it comes to marriage. They have some pretty out-there ideas about the entire institution. But I mean, if you want to learn how to stand by your spouse after they get outed as a child-molesting cheater, then this family has some good advice for you.
