Poor Josh Duggar Feels Discriminated Against For Not Being Allowed To Discriminate”
Happy Friday to you all! I’m about to unravel your happiness with yet another tale of Josh Duggar being a completely repulsive piece of human garbage! Every time I start to see him in a better light watching him be sweet with his kids on 19 Kids and Counting, I need to remind myself that he is actually evil. Evil in a droopy, paunchy, discriminating package.
According to RawStory, Josh is being quoted as saying that Christians should have the right to discriminate against gay people based on their religious convictions and if anyone tries to infringe on that right, they are discriminating against HIM. Follow that? I feel like he’s the world’s dumbest dog chasing his own tail — you can’t discriminate against me for discriminating against others but still, don’t discriminate against me, only I can discriminate. Jesus Christ, my head might explode. Anyway, the asshole. In his own moronic, ill-educated words:
”Right now in America there is an agenda to silence people of faith, those who hold a dissenting opinion,” Duggar said. ”That’s not what America was founded on. America was founded on respect, tolerance, and really not discriminating against people based on their religious convictions.”
Bless his idiot brain. The fact that he can say that with a straight face speaks either to his complete and total ignorance or cruel streak. Or a potent combination of both. Respect? Tolerance? It seems so obvious to point out but it needs to be said — his views on gay marriage are LITERALLY intolerant! Is he kidding? At least the people opposing his point-of-view aren’t trying to prevent him from enjoying the basic human right of being legally attached to the love of his life. The fact that he honestly believes this is how it should be is appalling and terrifying.
Here is another dumb quote:
”Orthodox Christianity, in general, and all faiths, really, ascribe to the fact that the family is central to everything,” he said. ”When you look at our economy right now and you look at all the other issues ”” national security, immigration, all these issues that we face in our country ”” it all goes back to when you have strong families, you have a strong economy, you have a strong nation.”
Sure, it all comes back to strong families. So why does he want to discriminate against people who WANT TO BE MARRIED and make one? Oh, I keep forgetting — he’s a bigot and an evil piece of shit. I really need that written on a post-it to keep on the back of my hand so I don’t lose sight of the prize. The fact that this man and those who agree with him think they are following the word of God is laughable. What loving God would want to marginalize and steal the rights of an entire group of human beings? Somehow, I deeply feel this is not what Jesus would do. Not even a little.
He does stress the need to be “civil” in your Jesus-sanctioned discriminatin’ and hatin’ because, of course:
He urged Christians to speak ”with civility” when they called for legal discrimination against LGBT people.
”It’s very clear that this is a debate that’s not going to go away, and I think what we have to do is we have to come to this and we have to talk with civility,” Duggar said. ”We have to go out there and we have to be clear in what we believe and we have to be firm in saying, look, this is where I stand.”
What could be more civil than working tirelessly to keep your fellow man from pursuing love and happiness in the same manner you are able? Keeping gay people from being allowed to legally marry is basically his entire job in his capacity as director for the anti-gay hate group Family Research Council. Can you imagine your whole career being based on making sure people who love each other can’t get married? What a hateful and disgusting existence. I can only pray that if there is a God, he laughs this horrible man right out of the pearly gates. There is nothing Godly about his hateful agenda.
