Jessica Simpson Is Pushing Ahead With Her Wedding Come Hell, High Water, Or Big Baby Bump

Jessica Simpson is a lady on a mission — and not necessarily a Weight Watchers-endorsed one for once! She may be expecting her second child just seven months after welcoming Maxwell Drew Johnson, but mama is looking to walk down the aisle before she’s got a baby on either hip.

Radar Online reports that Jessica was originally looking at a December wedding date with fiance Eric Johnson. But then her BFF, Cacee Cobb, had to go and pick a December date for her wedding too (don’t you hate it when that happens?) That and a few other familial happenings, such as her father’s gay affair, her parents subsequent divorce, and then her surprise second pregnant understandably have caused Jessica’s wedding to be kicked down the road some. Celebs! They really are just like us!

But fear not as Jessica won’t be deterred by silly things like her father’s infidelity or a surprise second pregnancy. Mommy-to-be is pushing full speed ahead and perhaps looking at late winter or early spring nuptials:

“…she still wants to get married soon and is seriously considering marrying Eric before her baby is due. Jessica isn’t concerned about her baby bump showing in the wedding pictures and feels she has put off her nuptials for far too long. Date-wise, she’s thinking before next summer, possibly February or March,” the insider divulged.

Perhaps we’ll be treated to some tabloid-tastic tummy cradling Ã  la Drew Barrymore‘s wedding. Or maybe Jessica will really do a 180 and keep us, the tabloids, and even Weight Watchers out of this entire second pregnancy. A girl can dream!
