Jemima Kirke Gave Birth A Little While Ago And Didn’t Tell Any Of Us

Girls star Jemima Kirke, who famously touted her ability to support a family at 27 years old, has delivered her second child. And a couple of weeks later, we — the public and perhaps Girls fans — are just hearing about it. A woman after my own heart.

People magazine reports that Jemima gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, November 20th — a real Turkey Week baby. She and husband Michael Mosberg, who are already mother and father to 2-year-old daughter Rafaella Israel, have named the newborn Memphis.

Kirke reportedly went into delivery gender blind, meaning that there were no big gender reveal parties or gender surprise cakes or even just a basic sonogram informing her of the sex of her baby. Memphis’s gender was a surprise.

Normally, I’d tell you where she gave birth, who was present at the delivery, along with a giddy statement from the new mother about she happy she is with this new addition/blessing/joy in her life. But because Jemima isn’t bothering blabbing details about her delivery to the tabloids, I got nothing. Just that the new season of Girls debuts on January 13th — in case you care about happenings beyond her uterus.
