Ivanka Trump Tries to Teach Twitter About the Eclipse, Twitter Schools Her Instead

Is there anyone on social media who doesn’t know what causes a solar eclipse? Apparently, Ivanka Trump thinks so. On Sunday, the First Daughter tweeted out an infographic that explained what causes an eclipse. Ivanka Trump teaches about eclipse in a way that well, didn’t go so well with social media and now we’re left with the hilarious responses that seriously make the day that much more special.

True to form, Twitter didn’t react well to what she was trying to teach everyone and we’re left with these replies.

“Wondering how it works? In a solar eclipse, the moon passes between the sun & Earth & blacks all or part of the sun for up to about 3 hrs,” she tweeted.

This is a great thing to show kids, but not to millions of people on Twitter who are all over the age of 13. And hoo boy, did Twitter let her know that.

They suggested other things Ivanka Trump could educate people on:

I guess we should all be happy that Ivanka is out there, educating the masses. After all, Betsy DeVos is in now charge of our education system.
