In Even More Upsetting Honey Boo Boo News, The Child Mama June’s Boyfriend Allegedly Molested Was Her Own
Before you begin reading this, just please allow me to forewarn you I’m already feeling physically sick over this story and I haven’t even begun to type the details yet. Whew. Okay. So remember when we all applauded TLC for tipping its morality compass slightly north by canceling Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in light of the allegations that Mama June is dating a convicted child molester? Of course you do, because it was yesterday. And it was a sound decision made by a network not really known for its sound decisions. A decision that followed seriously disturbing allegations – Mama June‘s rumored boyfriend, Mark McDaniel, was convicted for aggravated child molestation of an eight-year-old back in 2004. Mama June was dating him at the time, apparently broke it off when he was convicted, and is now supposedly dating him again now that he’s out of prison. That’s…a lot to process.
Well I hope you have your sick bag handy, because that’s not where the disturbing story ends. Recent reports from TMZ and Radar Online claim the eight-year-old in question back then was June’s own daughter, Anna. You may remember Anna as “Chickadee”, mother of double-thumbed, adorable baby Kaitlyn. Well, she claims she was the victim of McDaniel’s abuse, and she says she “feels betrayed” by her mother for letting him back into her life:
”I believe she is seeing him and hanging around him. I’m hurt. I think me and Mama’s relationship may well be over.”
Ugh, my heart hurts for this girl. Official court documents obtained by Radar Online (and published with Anna’s permission) officially name Anna as the victim in question back in 2004, so there’s really no denying that piece of information. How devastating. I’m stunned, to be honest. And horrified. I just want Sugar Bear to crawl out of whatever pile of camo hats he’s currently hiding under and take each of Mama June’s daughters and get them the hell away from the entire situation.
