Seal And Heidi Klum Divorce After Vacation With The Kids

Rumors of a Heidi Klum divorce appear to be true after all. The darling couple of Hollywood, model Heidi Klum and singer Seal are parting ways after seven years of marriage. After confirming suspicions about profound cracks in their partnership, the husband and wife released a joint statement on Twitter announcing the conclusion of their marriage. And sources close to the pair say that the split can all be traced back to a family vacation last August.

Heidi and Seal reportedly took their brood of four kids of Leni, seven, Henry, six, Johan, five, and Lou, two, to Ibiza at the end of last summer. But after touching ground, Seal allegedly started going out without the family, partying at different venues and drinking leaving Heidi to deal with the children all by herself. The source tells the Sunday Mirror:

“When they had their holiday in Ibiza last summer, Seal hit it hard, was out at clubs and with his friends a lot and Heidi was left with their kids trying to enjoy herself. The cracks were appearing and everybody was talking during that trip. He seemed off the rails.”

And nothing erodes romance overtime like disputes over childrearing responsibilities, no matter how much passion initially lit that flame. The couple who lovingly renewed their vows every year in lavish ceremonies were rarely seeing one another, working on different assignments for months at time without spending any time together.[tagbox tag=”divorce”]

However, in their joint press release, Heidi and Seal do not appear to be throwing either one under the bus. In announcing the  impending divorce, the seemingly respectful soon-to-be exes say that they have “grown apart” and describe their children as “top priority” during this “transition”:

 “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.”

Heidi is all set to file the paperwork this week in Los Angeles citing “irreconcilable differences.”
