Gisele Bundchen Had A Baby Girl & We Expect Her Back On The Runway Next Week

Gisele Bundchen gave birth to what is presumably a gorgeous baby girl named Vivian Lake this week. She and her husband Tom Brady took to Facebook to share their happy news. Now that the birthing is done, we’re on Mommyish Countdown to see how long before she gets back on a runway or poses nude.

Given the fierce competition between mommy supermodels and Gisele’s penchant for trying to make every other mom around her feel like crap, my bets are that we’ll see a tanned, toned tummy before we see Santa’s reindeer. I’m also guessing that we’ll get a few more details of little Vivian Lake’s birth. You know? Like how it didn’t hurt at all and Gisele just meditated her way through it.

We do know that Gisele’s birth happened at home, just like three years ago when the couple’s first son Benjamin was born. In her statement to fans, Gisele said:

We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel. Vivian Lake was born at home on December 5. She is healthy and full of life.
Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings .

Now, if current cultural trends are our guide, we just have to weight for the introductory family picture on the cover of People. It’s approximately two weeks away, unless an A-Lister gets engaged or divorced. Then, the new mommy will quickly return to work, taking her adorable little girl onto photo shoots with her and nursing in between wardrobe changes. Finally, Gisele will have an interview with Savannah Guthrie or Katie Couric in which she’ll explain how she dropped the baby weight so quickly and how she’s juggling two kids and a career.
